Officer Brian Holbrook has lived in Idaho all of his life, including twenty-five years in the west-central mountains. He was born, raised and graduated high school in Emmett. Brian attained a B.S. in Wildlife Resources from the University of Idaho. He started his law enforcement career in 1996, and has worked at the state, county and city levels. Brian has worked as a patrol officer, patrol deputy, a marine deputy and, most recently, as a Canyon County detention deputy.

Brian’s passions are his wife and four girls, and trying to create a better world for them to live in through his chosen profession. Brian’s other interests include bow hunting, hunting, trapping, fishing and teaching his family the fulfillment of living an outdoor lifestyle and sharing in their accomplishments as they learn.

Officer Cathie Largent was raised in the Tahoe Pines, Lake Tahoe/Sacramento, CA area and moved to Boise in 1990. Cathie spent 15 years working for Key Bank before moving to McCall. She most recently worked as an insurance consultant before joining the police department.

Cathie enjoys riding her bicycle, cross country skiing and spending time on the river in her canoe. Cathie and her husband have seven grandkids with whom they enjoy spending as much time as possible. Cathie will be working as a Code Enforcement Officer for the police department.

Officer Mark Zakarian is originally from California and received his Bachelor of Science Computer Studies and Master of Science Computer Information Management from the University of Maryland. Mark has worked many years in the health care field in research and as an analyst. His law enforcement career began seven years ago, when he spent five years as a detective investigating an assortment of crimes including property crimes, crimes against person, fraud, and computer and Internet crimes. Mark has previously worked for Meridian and Garden City Police Departments.

He maintains a variety of certifications, experience and training including in video and computer forensics as well as being a certified polygraph examiner. Mark recently joined the McCall Police Department to further his law enforcement career and enjoy the lifestyle McCall affords. Mark is currently assigned as a patrol officer.
